DropBoxのアカウント情報が漏れているかもしれないのでパスワードの変更
最近は情報流出の話題が尽きないですね。今日発表された情報はオンラインストレージの「DropBox(ドロップボックス)」のIDとパスワードが約700万件流出しているという情報ですね。
その影響でクラウド上にあるユーザーのファイルが勝手に消去されるという問題が発生しているようです。
米Dropboxは公式ブログで「Dropboxはハックされておらず、IDとパスワードはDropboxとは無関係なサービスから盗まれたものだ」というコメントを発表しています。
他サービスから流出したと主張をしています。

Recent news articles claiming that Dropbox was hacked aren’t true. Your stuff is safe. The usernames and passwords referenced in these articles were stolen from unrelated services, not Dropbox. Attackers then used these stolen credentials to try to log in to sites across the internet, including Dropbox. We have measures in place to detect suspicious login activity and we automatically reset passwords when it happens.Attacks like these are one of the reasons why we strongly encourage users not to reuse passwords across services. For an added layer of security, we always recommend enabling 2 step verification on your account.
現在Dropboxでは、消去されたファイルの復旧にも取り組んでいるようです。被害が認められたユーザーには、Dropbox Proを1年分を無償で提供してもらえるようです。
日本人のアカウントも一部が流出していると噂されています。今のところ僕のアカウントは問題なく、ファイルが削除された形跡などもありません。
でも念のためパスワードは変更をしておいたほうが良さそうなので、パスワードの変更方法を載せて置こうと思います。
パスワードの変更方法はスマホのアプリからはどうやらできないみたいで、パソコンからブラウザで行う必要があります。
▼まずはログインをします。
▼画面右上の自身のアカウントをクリックして、設定(setting)を選択します。
▼セキュリティ(Security)タブからパスワード変更(Change password)をクリックします。
▼変更画面で古いパスワードと新しいパスワードを入力してパスワードを変更します。
ここまでの作業でパスワードの変更が完了です。
二段階認証も推奨されているので設定をしておけば、さらに安心です。二段階認証はセキュリティタブのページから設定することができます。
